Steamboy is the most expensive animated film in Japanese history with a budget of some 2.4 billion yen (roughly $20 million). Steamboy is a retro science fiction film that has a very strong sense of design. Fall 2003 Release Date was pushed back until early 2004 due to Katsuhiro wanting the ending of the movie to be well done.
Ray is a young inventor living in Great Britain in the middle of the 19th century. Shortly before the Great Exhibition, a marvelous invention called the "Steam Ball", behind which a menacing power is hidden, arrives at his door from his grandfather Lloyd in the United States. Meanwhile the nefarious Ohara Foundation has sent men to aquire the Steam Ball so that they can use its power towards their own illicit ends.

Action
Action anime usually involve a fairly straightforward story of good guys versus bad guys, where most disputes are resolved by using physical force. It often contains a lot of shooting, explosions and fighting.
Airforce
Anime with this category, like anime with Military as category concerns an organised armed force, but with the difference that they should primarily conduct aerial warfare.

Said body should have both the equipment and hierarchy found in military groups, and should ideally be actively utilising their power against an opponent. Characters are either employed as professional soldiers or enlisted on a volunteer basis, for ideological reasons. Navy As with Airforce and Military, this category is for anime that concerns an organised armed force, but with the difference that they should primarily conduct naval or space warfare.
Note: Just because the anime contains warships, submarines or spaceships, unless it is actually about those armed forces, you might not want to add this genre. Power Suits Power Suits are similar to Piloted Robots which are controlled from inside the robot except that Power Suits tend to be more directly tied to how the character moves and they are usually not as big as Piloted Robots can be. They are still mechanical and shouldn`t be confused with plug suits. Sci-Fi Science fiction stories usually focus on how situations could be different in the future when we are more technologically advanced; due to either our own achievements or having met with other civilizations whom we have learned from. Time: Past Anime that takes place in the past or clearly seems to take place in the past in case of an alternative universe. This category should almost always go together with one of its sub-categories, because the past can either be a depiction of a historical event(s) or not, in which case it would be alternative past.
