An awesome story that borderlines isekai, with a good level of science fiction and fantasy. The universe is brutal to its characters, and I couldn't love it more for that.

This movie doesn't do anything super new. It uses tropes that aren't unique, and the story itself is good, but nothing novel. The beauty of this is the presentation. Beautifully animated, well acted, and actually benefits from being a movie unlike anything else in the medium.

I usually describe this as "Death Note except Light is a compulsive gambler with debt troubles". The first season is 3 arcs, and it jumps you straight into the action. Give it 3 episodes, and I guarantee you'll be hooked!

I don't even want to think of this series. The main themes from episode 1 are simply that even when your time is limited, even if you have a date of expiration, you should make every moment up to the final count, and that not accepting this will only hurt those around you. It's the type of anime that fully concluded, where I'd love to have a season 2, but a season 2 with the same cast would only harm the original work.
